Found out about the Seneca at Gowen Marine/PYS yard at 400 Commercial Street. So after yesterday's blow I was there bright and early(read cold) this morning and took these images. Seneca is a 78' aluminum hull fishing boat built in 1971. She has been owned since 1990 by Captain Charlie Johnson of Harpswell
, ME.
Here in Maine I'm sure just about every photographer has taken photographs of ice fishing shacks, as they are everywhere! So here are some of my shots from last weekend on Echo Lake in Mt. Vernon, ME. As you can see you don't buy a shack, you make it yourself. Also you don't buy the material, you use/reuse what ever you have on hand.
